"Free" time.

Well, Thursday of last week I was let go from my job of 3.17 years at XanGo.
Quite a few people were let go actually. The company "Reallocated" us to not employed by them anymore.

I am actually not upset about getting laid off (is it a lay off?) because I was done there, and had already applied to a new job and was looking for options for gainful employment.

I am glad that I didn't quit, because then I wouldn't have received a very fair severance package from the company. Very fair, and based from how long I had worked for them.

In case you are saddened by the awesome, yet very sad, homeless picture I have included Rawr cat.

It gives me enough to last for a while as long as I don't go out and buy a new TV or have some huge repair on my car. It let me Zero out what I owed on my credit card, which I had already lowered pretty well before that.

Now I don't really have any specific responsibilities to focus on.
I guess it means it really is time to go Back To School.
(Da da daaaa)
And get a part time job.

[Kind of Sales-Pitchy here, so... don't mind this part.
I didn't really mean to go into this with so much detail, but if you are interested in what my plans are, here was the sales pitch version ;) the short version is I will be trying to become involved in the distribution of this financial tool, and if it doesn't work out then no harm done, really.

I have a particularly interesting opportunity to be a part of a company called UWin Financial. The company uses some online software that looks very handy in becoming more, as they are putting it, "Financially Intelligent."
What it does is lets you input your various loans and payments you make on you car, house, electric... all of the things you pay for basically. Then calculated the interest rates and the other things that effect how much TOTAL you will end up paying based on your current patterns.

In the end it is a very sophisticatedly programmed financially planner that you gain access to online by paying the subscription fee.

This is something that will help me, since I can be a little careless with my finances (Most times I don't even think about it... which is less stressful, but not exactly wise).

On top of that, the company is pretty unique in their market. Where many other direct sales products are new aged health juices, and health products. This company is the only one the actual product is aimed at helping people financially, while at the same time aiding them through residual commissions.

If I find a few people who need the product and are willing to use it, then that will cover the cost for me to use it myself, which is cool.

If I find 3-4 people who want to actually be serious about distributing it to people, then I could really do well. And I wouldn't have to have a part time job outside of working with them while I go to school. I could really appreciate that with how much I detest schoolwork.

Well, that would be great, but I will have to see what the interest is before I put a lot of weight into that system. (Hehe, if anybody is interested in either aspects, let me know. Don't do me any favors or anything like that... but if you are going to do somebody a favor let it be me :D )
--Sorry for the shameless pluggery

I am also working out now, which is nice of course. It comes in pretty handy living so close to provo canyon, and the trail is pretty calm. I would rather be biking than running any day, but the bike I have now is... about three million years old. so what was once a wonderful 10 speed, is now a worn down 2 speed.

It was kind of scary to ride the bike too, as when I got to the steeper parts of the trail and had to put some muscle into it, the chain started skipping and I immediately braced to fall face first into the pavement.

It didn't happen, but I was convinced enough that it wasn't going to make it to bridal vale, much less nuns park or vivian's for that matter.

So... not really that far. I guess running will have to be good enough. (more impact, less travel... boooring.)

So another request... if somebody out there wants to buy me a new mountain bike for no good reason, let me know. I promise to ride it and wash it and all of those things.
